Saint Witold's Bell

Incessant rains have caused the nearby woods surrounding Saint Witold’s temple to become marshland. The once prominent temple is sinking, and the villagers of Stoneharrow want the steeple bell and Witold’s remains for a new temple they plan to construct elsewhere.

The Bell of Saint Witold is a level 2-4 adventure for Shadowdark RPG, that will likely last 3-4 sessions.

The party will journey to the nearby monastery with instructions to retrieve the steeple bell and the physical remains of their saint. They can traverse a marsh, meet a godly fox and serpent, explore a 25 area monastery, work through a 9 area crypt, battle Lizardfolk, Spiders, and Leeches. They may possibly rescue and recruit 2 halflings on their own epic journey (possible seed for the next adventure), and learn of another 5 area barrow mound nearby.
